Harvard Graduate Council Events: 2005 - 2006

 

Valentine’s Day Dance, 02/16/06. Continuation of previous HGC event. Took place at the Roxy Bar in Boston.

Harvard/MIT Dance Party, 03/18/06. A “typical bar scene” event coordinated by MIT’s Graduate School Council and co-sponsored by HGC.

Habitat for Humanity Service Day, 04/15/06. An outreach of the Public Service/Volunteerism committee, work was done on a construction project in Boston.

Third Annual Charity 5k Run, 04/23/06. Continuation of previous HGC event. Took place along the Charles River.  Proceeds went to the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.

“Start of Summer” event, 05/13/06. A first-time event designed to reach out to students with children and/or who may not be interested in a “typical bar scene” event. It was a first-time collaboration with HSSPA and included a clown and several games for small children.
